Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team. Must be able to drive a van. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various warehouse functions, including materials handling, equipment maintenance, and shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse management systems efficiently to track inventory and order processing.

  • Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all goods are correctly documented and stored.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Support the organisation of the warehouse space to optimise workflow and safety standards.
  • Apply basic maths skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during stock handling.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is advantageous.
  • Valid forklift licence or willingness to obtain one preferred.
  • Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail in shipping, receiving, and stock management tasks.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting and measurements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting tasks.
  • Prior experience with shipping & receiving processes is desirable. Cook/Chef - Belfast

Hillmount Belfast are looking for a Chef for a busy 240 seat cafe. The ideal candidate will have experience making home made soups, stew, scones & home made desserts. The position is permanent full time. The chef is also required to help serve customer over the lunch period.

Health & Hygiene Cert is essential.

Allergen training is desired.

No late nights but must be able to work both weekdays & weekends.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
