Weber Q1200 with Stand - Black

The Weber Q1200 with stand is a portable, ready to go barbecue, which is everything you would expect from a portable barbecue by a manufacturer of gas barbecues with a reputation such as Weber's

Perfectly equipped and portable for adventures but yet perfect for use at home the Weber Q1200 Black with stand is powered by Weber 445g disposable gas canisters, making it ideal for those who want to grill where ever they may be. Though a Weber Adaptor Kit - 8482 can be purchased separately to connect the barbecue to a refillable Patio Gas bottle.

The Q1200 with stand has the addition of a taller lid profile with built-in thermometer, for greater roasting capabilities, along with a fully detachable stand, which has a stylish screen for hiding a Patio Gas bottle should you choose to use one, Included are three convenient utensil holders located at the front, not forgetting the two fold away side tables. This barbecue is so simple to light, turn on the burner valve  and then just press the electronic ignition button to light (requires one AAA battery).

The build and materials on the Q1200 are, as with all Weber products, of the highest quality for heat retention and distribution, as well as durability. The lid and body are made from cast aluminium, with a heat resistant glass reinforced nylon frame. The body of the Q1200 has two handy handles for easy transporting, and it also has two fold out side tables which are fantastic for holding your spices, marinades and tools while you are cooking. These fold away for storage. This barbecue has one stainless steel burner.

To make clean up even easier, there is a catch pan at the bottom of the barbeque to catch any fat. Line this with a disposable drip tray to make it even more convienient. The grate is in two parts, and is made from porcelain enamelled cast iron. This allows for maximum durability, and fantastic, even heat distribution to ensure consistent cooking results. The coating makes it more non-stick, so easier to clean, and means that you never have to season your cast iron. Weber don't recommend putting these grates in the dishwasher as it can damage the surface. Being in two parts makes it easier to lift off and clean.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Prior to first use: Hand wash new cast iron accessory with mild washing-up liquid. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel.

After use: Wait until the griddle is cool. Soak in water to remove stubborn particles and then hand wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. Nylon or soft pads/brushes may be used. 

NOTE: Metallic pads/brushes and harsh abrasive soaps can damage the porcelain-enamel finish.
